The travelers that come to Ecuador can get into the country with 2 suitcases containing personal objects, free of taxes. If you have a third suitcase you will pay 200 US dollars and for a fourth suitcase 600 US dollars. If your baggage is bigger they will inspect it to calculate the amount that you would pay.

300 cigarettes and 2 liters of alcoholic beverages are exonerated of taxes; it is illegal to bring firearms, ammunition and narcotics, meats (including caned).
You could take with you some fruits and flowers, which have to be certificate by the ministry of agriculture and cattle in the air terminal of Quito and Guayaquil.
