The adventure
of getting to know the archipelago of Galapagos
usually begins in the airports of Quito and Guayaquil. Daily airships
take off to the island of Baltra. From there, the tourist is transferred
- in a bus or ferry- to Puerto Ayora of the island of Santa Cruz.
Twice a week
- Wednesdays and Saturdays- originating flights from Quito and
Guayaquil land in the aerial terminal of Puerto Baquerizo Moreno,
in the island of San Cristobal. The marine channel is another
option to arrive at Galapagos. Occasionally,
luxury cruises leave from the port of Guayaquil. What ever way
you choose to arrive at the islands, remember that because it's
a National Park, the Ecuadorian government receives an amount
to enter.
