Cooperation Agreement between
The Contracting Society and Enjoy Corp
The Contracting Society, is an entrepreneurial society with offices in Stockholm (Sweden), Hong Kong (China) and Lima (Peru), which goals involve issues as Environmental Protection and Social Responsibility, at the same time that promote sustainable entrepreneurial activities in social and ecological terms, while their staff has wide experience in international organizations as The World Bank, UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme), SGS (Societé Genérale de Surveillance) and CARE, the most important global organization for poverty reduction with presence in more than 60 countries.
The Contracting Society has the endorsement of CARE and CONSERVATION INTERNATIONAL to promote a unique initiative: THE CERTIFICATION OF TOURISM SUSTAINABILITY for Nature and Adventure Tourism Operators.
Enjoy Corp, is a company founded in Peru which main activity is the operation of tourism in South America, with concrete expansion plans for the rest of the Latin American Region. Its main concern has been the protection of the environment, as well as the generation of fair income for local and native communities where nature and adventure tourism operators offer their services.

We, The Contracting Society, with address in Odlingsvagen 3, Floor 7, Solna, Stockholm, Sweden, represented by Mr. Vladimir A. Arana, Passport of Peru No 0842492, and Enjoy Corp, with address in Schell 343 - of 607, Lima, Peru, represented by, José Ignacio Udaquiola, Passaport of Argentina No. 10.550.312, under the following terms and conditions agree:
1.- The Contracting Society and Enjoy Corp agree to start joint activities to promote the Certification of Tourism Sustainability among nature and adventure tourism operators, as a way to obtain that companies and communities that involve nature and the environment as a key place, get concerned by protecting such a space and be in condition to certify such a concern.
2.- The Contracting Society agrees that Enjoy Corp be the promoter of its actions for Certification of Tourism Sustainability accordingly to its access to nature and adventure tourism operators in areas where ecology, nature conservation and income generation in local and native communities, are considered important.
3.- At the same time and as a reciprocal condition, both parties are committed to publish in their sites the methodology, standards and indicators of Tourism Sustainability Certification Process, the operators which are involved in that process, and the reports of each operator and their commitments to improve local environmental and social conditions.
4.- The commitment established in the last item has the purpose to give true and real information to people about what the Certification of Tourism Sustainability is, who certifies and what and who is being certified, in opposition to other certification systems where it is unknown what it is being certified neither under which standards and methodology the certification is made.
5.- In addition, operators will commit to be under supervision to make sure that their tourism operations have been modeled in benefit of the environment and the development of local and native communities.
6.- Both parties agree that this agreement covers the territory of Latin America as a first stage.
7.- In addition, Enjoy Corp is committed to promote, in its market linkages system, all the operators that join the Certification of Tourism Sustainability Program leaded by The Contracting Society.
8.- Both parties agree to co-design and co-implement development and conservation projects leaded by tourism operators in areas where their activities take place, in order to contribute to local communities promotion and environmental protection.
Having all read and agreed two copies are being signed in the city of Lima the eleventh day of December of the year 2003.
